Clint Hankins Named Local 618 Trustee
Brother Clint Hankins was named today at the Local 618 general membership meeting as the new Local 618 Trustee to replace retiring Trustee Ted Ganahl. Brother Hankins is a 39 year member of Local 618 and has over 20 years as a local 618 shop steward. Brother Hankins is employed at Community Tire Recap. Clint is married to his wife Linda and has one son Skipper who is a teacher and baseball coach. Clint currently served as a local 618 Sargent At Arms. He was sworn in today and will assume his duties immediately .
Local 618 Principal Officer Marvin Kropp had this to say about Clint. Brother Hankins has been a outstanding member of Local 618 and will be a valuable addition to our Executive Board. I have represented Brother Hankins at Community Tire for over thirty years and he has always done a outstanding job for the members in his shop. In the past 30 years Brother Clint has been almost to every membership meeting and I can't remember a rally, event, Labor Day parade that he hasn't been to. He is a example to what a Teamster is ! I'm proud to say he is a now a member of our Executive Board stated Kropp.
